Hello all. I know nothing of Colombian telephone standards, and have not been able to find anything on the web....
So, my question is this: will my modem from the US function in Colombia? Do they have the same RJ-11 jacks there, or must I buy some converter? Any special software configuration to work with the local phone system?
Thanks.

If you have a wireless laptop, you will not be able to use it in many places, I only know of two. "Parque de la 93" in Bogota and at the Rionegro Airport which is the one used when travelling to Medellin (MDE).

My girlfriend appartment I could only connect 1200 bps at her parents house. I could not connect at all. At the hotel I could connect at 3300
