I think the contestants are pretty girls But you'd probably spot prettier girls than that walking down any street in Cali, Medellin or Manizales. They could find much prettier contestants if they actually went to the poor barriadas and picked out girls based solely on looks and not on social class.


Then finally, Colombia could really show the world what Colombian women are like and we could show those damn Venezuelans that we are not only as good, but better.

I am 100% in agreement w/ what UTC and COLOMBICHE just wrote. I don't understand the criteria for selecting these contestants. The suggestion is that these are the best girls Colombia has to offer. While they are cute, like UTC said you could just go sit down somewhere, wait a few minutes, and one just as hot or hotter will come walking by. Kat I think that girls contacts make her eye color too close to white, giving her that possessed, reach for your crucifix look.

A 5 year old kid named Isaias David taught me many things about life in just one week. Last December while taking Christmas gifts to children with scarce economic resources, I met Isais David who unfortunately had advanced cancer. I immediately felt something very special about him so I start investigating in order to help him. After just one week, I received the awful news that he was no longer with us. He made me realize that everything in life has a reason to be.

* What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition is to apply the knowledge that I have acquired throughout my studies, my personal and work experiences in expanding my family's business as well as other projects that I have in mind.

* Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in a spectacular city called Barranquilla known as "La Puerta de Oro de Colombia", where everybody knows each other and where cultural values are emphasized and the traditions are maintained. I have always had the fortune of being surrounded by a large, loving family that has always been unconditional in every situation of my life; always having clear, structured values and morals present.

* List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
While I was a student, I worked at Perry Ellis International at the MIS Department. I acquired a lot of knowledge and interest in subjects in which I had never been involved before.
I also worked in the Telecommunications Department in the School of Law at the University of Miami performing tasks not related to my field of study.

* What is your most unusual talent?
In my opinion every talent is unusual since each person gives a touch of authenticity to what they do. I have the ability to draw and although I have never had the opportunity to fully develope in this field, I do expect to study it in the near future.

Hmm, yes the girls are pretty. Maybe I'm different or just wierd, but these beauty-queen types look a little too northern European for my tastes. I mean, some of them could pass for a German fraulien. Or the girl next door in Ohio.

Personally, I like them a bit darker, a bit heavier, and more curvy.

In that move Maria Full of Grace there is a scene where she is coming off the plane in New York. In the background there is an exotic looking woman in the crowd, laughing and talking with a friend as they walk. I was STUNNED by her features. Go to that scene, play it in slow motion, and you will see what I mean. Now THATS my idea of gorgeous features. I hope you guys disagree(heh heh).

I will agree with Crazy Eagle and Colombiche This girls are gorgeous...

but I think there are a lot of prettier girls in Colombia, in the streets and the barrios and many of them are lot more natural, they are truly beautiful and didnt have to get anything from a surgery or a lot of hours in the gym or a few hours putting on the make up and getting the hair done.

My point is this girls are very pretty and they show what colombian man like... but I dont think they are really a representation (with a few exceptions) of the colombian beauty.

Just a thought
