captbill says on Jul 31, 2005, 18:18: stayed there I rented a unit for one million pesos for 30 days from a private owner. It is still under construction, but the unit I stayed on the 14th floor was a 3 bedroom unit with a bathroom and ceramic floors and brand new. It was also fully furnished down to paper towels, salt pepper, towels etc. The view was excellent and had a nice swimming pool and 24hr security, the taxis bring you into the building. I never went walking in the area but the portaria, the store there on the corner will deliver whatever you need. This is a link to the vendors of the building www.bienesybienes.com and the unit I stayed in was selling or at least they were asking $75million pesos. Hope this helps

utopiacowboy says on Jul 31, 2005, 18:58: How could it be on the corner of Carerra 80 and Carerra 76? My wife owns an apartment on Carerra 78A but it depends what block we're talking about. Do you know the calle? spigrimace says on Jul 31, 2005, 19:44: it´s probably in La Mota on the 80 past DAS on the way to Poblado. I think it´s nice and safe. Others may differ opinion. Try Lomas de Bernal. It´s like Poblado style towers and condos over on the other side of the rio medellin.
