Miami International Airport

I am planning to meet my wife in the Miami International Airport. She will be flying in from Colombia and I will be coming in from New York. I have been through the airport a million times, but it has always been to catch a connecting flight. For those of you familiar with the airport, where is the best place to meet so that we are sure not to miss each other? Also, what can she expect from the time she gets off the plane until she get her luggage? This is her first time in the U.S. and she is traveling under a K- visa.

Thank You!

lower (ground) level right outside of costumes I suppose you will be arriving to the airport before her right? Most domestic flights arrive to the second floor. She on the other hand, will be arriving all the way down on the ground level right at the beginning of the airport. The best thing will be for you to wait for her right outside of costumes since she will probably be a little longer to come out.

Watch Out! There are two customs at MIA Freyr there are two customs at Miami Int'l Airport these days, one on the ground level, and one up on the third level. I have picked up friends and family arriving from Colombia on American Airlines at both. So be sure to specify to your wife which level to meet at. Immigration lines are long for non US citizens, so at least one hour, maybe more, to get her luggage and out of customs.
