Sunday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m. A meeting for folks interested in living or investing in Colombia. Anybody who has never been or is just waiting to go back, mostly with a professional or business interest - we all ought to sit down and share for an evening. Please try to come - and do reply to this post to confirm, or send me an email! I will make the reservations, buy pizza for everyone, and be there to get the conversation started! (Californian 20-something, ex-pat in Colombia working on several investments/small business start-ups).

I hope to meet you all!

I'm game; where in Miami will this be? I live in North Miami.

On Sept 17, 2008: Senator John McCain said, as he had many times before, that he believed the fundamentals of the economy were "strong."Hours later he backpedaled, explaining that he had meant that American workers were Strong.

This is Miami, South Beach...Take a look at Google Maps - I actually have never been here, but it comes recommended (true for both the restaurant and the city!)...Who else can make it out??!?!

You may want to look at an area out of south beach and here is why: Parking-very difficult and expensive. Prices-High for what Value you receive. Security-iffy. Lots of good places on Biscayne Blvd say from North Miami to Adventura(close to the very nice Adventura Mall). Only my 2 cents worth,,,I live here.

RMYKITA-the reason many locals here in Miami avoid S. Beach is the lack of Parking at a reasonable price. The Local SB Tow Truck Vultures known as Beach Towing cruise the streets endlessly looking for cars without a proper Neighborhood parking permits, expired meters. They are real Doofuses, not to mention Bars, Restaurants, Hotels charge double what a meal or Room is worth. There's just so many other places with free parking, reasonable meals, Latin Women(many) to put up with the BS on South Beach.

got to hand it to poster, pizza rustica is the second best pizza i've ever eaten. and i've eaten pizza all over the world. #1 is in marsailles france. but pizza rustica is killer. best here in the states. i even hung out with the owner and shared thestory of the restaurant on the coast in france.

good choice. you're right, mike, parking's a bitch there, but the pizza is to die for.

everyone will have a blast.
