MIA to CTG best flight schedules

Anyone have good flight/airline suggestions for getting someone from MIA to CTG on a Wednesday or Thursday? Direct flights preferred. If not possible it'd probably be best to go through Panama City rather than BOG.

Amigo Only Avianca has a direct flight MIA to CTG ONLY on Sunday and Wednesday about 2pm. If Delta pops up as a direct flight do not be fooled it is the same flight as Avianca just a code share by Delta. Unless there have been changes most go through Bogotá BUT I can recommend COPA with a stop in PTY (Panama City.)

For the best price call Avianca's 800 number.

Thanks gator Are there direct flights from anywhere else in the US to CTG? Houston?

The Copa connections seem pretty good through Panama.

Only one I know of is the Avianca MIA-CTG Like Gator Said Matter of fact they just an amazing sale on the www.avianca.com/us website but its over. I check out there site all the time for specials..along with copaair.com which is the only the place you can get the webfares..agencies don't sell that webfare..

I would rather go thru Panama than Bogota for connecting flights..

Actually Avianca now flys non stop to CTG from Miami on Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri/Sun.
They also fly non stop to BAQ every day, so if needed you could fly to Barranquilla and take a van or taxi to CTG for about 25 dollars.

What You Don't Know... if you don't ask. I took a stroll to the Avianca office not too far from the apartmento here in Bogotá. Was advised that non stop Miami Cartagena is Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The departure tax from Colombia is also now included in the ticket so one can avoid a trip to the window from hell when leaving.

There is(was) a great special out of MIA to CTG for 216 USD plus taxes but that fare is completely sold out.

Aero Republica, subsidiary of Copa began service from Cartagena, Colombia, to Panama City, Panama, on March 31. This is a new route and is being operated with one of Aero Republica's brand new EMBRAER-190 aircraft with a 106 all-leather seat, single-class configuration.

Aero Republica's flight schedule is:

Route Weekly Flights Departure Arrival
Cartagena - Panama 3 8:00 a.m. 9:10 a.m.
Panama - Cartagena 3 8:10 p.m. 9:20 p.m.

Also passengers will be able to connect with 36 destinations and 21 countries through Copa Airlines "Hub of the Americas" at PTY in Panama City

Thanks, Saltador
