Mi Pueblito Restaurant and I, Happy together.
I stopped by Mi Pueblito Restaurant a couple days ago in Houston, Texas and I found a 100 % typical Colombian restaurant. They have over 900 dishes, que verraquera!
Among the 900 different dishes, they have six types of soups and three types of Sancochos. I ordered Sancocho de Cola, that soup was very GOOD and plentiful!!
Please do not miss Mi Pueblito restaurant when you visit Houston, Texas...

They even have a chiva bus parked in front of the restaurant.

9425 Richmond Ave. Houston, Texas 77063
(713)334-4594

The restaurant is always full during lunch time.

#203 Sancocho de Cola
Ox tail stew with plantain, yuca root, potato and corn. Served with rice, salad, friend plantain and arepa and aji picante.
$9.45 for a large size, or $7.25 for regular size.

ColombianoGringo (Moderator) (Trustee board) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Jul 29, 2007, 13:26: I did eat at that Arepas y Empanadas place and it was a huge disappointment as far as the empanadas. They had a very dry and chalky taste. I think the ones at Mi Pueblito are better although honestly they are not great. I have been told of a good place on Richmond and some place off of Fulton near Bellaire. I will check them out when I have some time. I'm so hip, I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
