Mi Pueblito Restaurant and I, Happy together.

Mi Pueblito Restaurant and I, Happy together.

I stopped by Mi Pueblito Restaurant a couple days ago in Houston, Texas and I found a 100 % typical Colombian restaurant. They have over 900 dishes, que verraquera!
Among the 900 different dishes, they have six types of soups and three types of Sancochos. I ordered Sancocho de Cola, that soup was very GOOD and plentiful!!
Please do not miss Mi Pueblito restaurant when you visit Houston, Texas...

OK Monpirri....next time you come to Houston you let us know!

And Mona, you're welcome to join us in Houston any time. It's much warmer than London, although this summer it's almost as if we were in London with all the rain we've been getting.

Gringos who travel from North to South, from East to West in Colombia are aware that Colombia could well have over 900 dishes! I however, was a bit over excited when I noticed the dishes numbered with high nunmbers as "Arroz con camarones" # 710.
With a careful observation, I noticed that the numbers are not in sequencial order, so Mario is correct, numbers are possibly used by the cash register and there are also gaps between the numbers.

It's worth mentioning that in the same area where Mi pueblito restaurant is located there are about three or four more Colombian restaurants in the area.
Right next to Mi pueblito, there is another popular restaurant "Dado's Chicken" Fans of 'Dado's Chicken" claimed that the chicken there tastes like Pollo Riko in Colombia.

I think they had a vallenato festival last year in Florida and sponsored by congodeoro.com, but I do not know about vallenato festival in Houston.
Maybe Colombianogringo knows something about it?
