They still need to pay, there for I guess Colombia does not need to compensate the relatives and as a matter of fact Colombia will need to kill a few of them as well. Ay Hombe!!!!! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

ColombianoGringo says on Apr 14, 2008, 15:51: I had put a reference to the actual interview or at least the newspaper that carried it. I can't remember where it came from but I didn't make it up. "No he sido guerrillera por mucho tiempo" sounds pretty clear to me. That is very different from "No soy guerrillera". Her own words damn her.

romy says on Apr 14, 2008, 16:03: With those statements you legitimize this conflict as a 'war' and give support to what some people have suggested in that some of the FARC hostages are deemed as legitimate prisoners of war.

ColombianoGringo says on Apr 14, 2008, 16:10: I was using the term "war" in a general and not a specific sense. Let's just say armed conflict since you are being so picky about semantics. War crime or not, I still they think they should have put a bullet in her. I really don't care if that offends whatever beliefs cause you to want to defend this lying criminal. Are you as concerned about all the war crimes perpetrated by the farc upon the Colombian people?

billyb says on Apr 14, 2008, 20:38: Romy, and just how do you suggest the FARC are "tried properly", (whatever that means), for their crimes against Humanity? Would you pretend to send a couple of policemen with six shooters a la Barney Fife and an arrest warrant into the jungle, present it to Marulanda and El Mono and they would meekly hold out their hands to be cuffed?

tejasmarcos says on Apr 14, 2008, 20:47: i saw some photos of the blast site. they hit them with some major explosives. there was destruction that covered a large, large area. i think they are correct in assuming the rockets were launched from a base vs. choppers. i don't think the missiles on choppers are that powerful. trying to walk a straight line on sour mash and cheap wine... 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
