Memorial for Scotty

A few posts back under the Scott post I suggested that we take a collection to make some sort of memorial for Scotty. So far there are three of us willing to contribute.

However it will take someone currently in Colombia to collect the funds and do the legwork of getting an engraved stone or bronze plaque. Perhaps Peter could do a paypal collection thing.

I have no concept of cost or where to place the memorial. Someone who knew him better might.

Just an idea.

Someone to gather the monies. Procure the monument and place it.

I really don't have a concept of what it would cost. It would seem that to date we have four people interested.

I suppose a call or two to see how much it would cost might be a starting point while we wait and see how high the interest factor is.
