Medellín Bus to the Iron Maiden Concert in Bogota

I have a neighbor who is a travel agent and she has a bus going from Medellin to the Iron Maiden Concert in Bogota on Feb 28. If you haven´t read, the show is dedicated almost entirely to their 80´s music and the set will resemble the Powerslave set from the 84-85 tour. The bus is pretty cheap at $66.000 pesos round trip. You need to give her half up front to reserve a seat. Her name is Claudia Mora and you can call her cell at: 300-738-47-82. You can get tix for the concert at www.tuboleta.com and it looks like the tix available are preferencial at $124.000 each. I still remember Bruce Dickinson screaming profanities at some a-hole who threw an m-80 at him at a show in NYC during the everlasting "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" on the Powerslave tour. Maybe the same will happen in Bogota?

WTF! These guys aren't dead yet? I remember seeing this band on lunch boxes when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I'm in my early 30's now.

Work to live. Don't live to work.

Thats not too long ago if you compare them to The Rolling Stones.

Opps, my bad, it was KIZZ I was thinking about. The guys who dressed up like WWF wrestlers.

Work to live. Don't live to work.

Iron Maiden was my favorite group back in the early to mid 80s. I am now 37. I thought their T-Shirts were cool, and they scared my parents. They also just happened to be loaded with talent too.

I never much liked hair metal bands like Iron Maiden, but I must admit that Iron Maiden had some great concert T-shirts.

Robert Jorge says on Feb 15, 2008, 15:28:

Not trying to argue - but Iron Maiden was not in the "hair metal" genre.

I pretty much disliked most metal bands. It always seemed like a bunch of noise to me. I tend to go for classic rock or "acid" rock.

IMHO Iron Maiden is one of the best metal bands

Come on, even if you don't like metal (I don't) you gotta love iron maiden :) Then again, ac/dc was even better. Check out those pants!
