i opened a hostel in medellin ( black sheep medellin )about six months ago, all in all things going very well... if anyone would like help regarding medellin or travelling around colombia.. let me know. the website is www.blacksheepmedellin.com

there is also quite a bit of colombian travel info/ pictures there and i will be adding a lot more info and pages in the next weeks... major upgrade underway

medellin is very safe these days.. i've had over 600 guests through my doors in the past five months..and not one has had a problem in this city.. not even a single mugging.

i will in the near future be renting out a few rooms in apartments and perhaps opening up one or two other hostels/ hotels around the country...keep posted
