Medellin

I am thinking of taking at 1-2 week trip to Medellin to have fun . . . and also to do some Spanish studying. Where would you recommend I stay? It can be cheap or expensive.

Also, can you recommend a place where I can get one-on-one Spanish tutoring?

Any other places I should consider in Colombia?

rent an apartment in Cartagena. Spend a week in both.

Love and happiness!

pepe came close to my suggestion....find a gal friend, avoid foreigners and just hang out with your 'squeeze' and enjoy yourselves speaking only spanish. tons of places to stay, on the $$up side, las palmas, poblado, down scale, laureles, envigado belin or even centro. depends on you.

I live in Medellin. I have a Spanish teacher that will give lessons for 15.000 COP per hour. She has a masters degree in Spanish literature, and is a certified school teacher. She is a native Colombian speaker. Drop me a pm if you are interested.
