Try Aerorepublica. You can book online.

Alternatively go to a travel agency (aviatur) if you can't book online for a third party.
Or try online www.aviatur.com. You can search for flights (all airlines). I saw return flights for 180'000 COP incl. taxes. for this weekend. You can reserve online and then they will send you a form you have to fill out and send back togther with copies of your CC and ID. Little bit complicated but it works, in particular if your booking is for someone else.

Avianca prices are different for MED-BOG or BOG-MED. More expensive from Medellin, and 250,000 is about right.

From Bogota, I usually pay 180,000-200,000.

Just because you have been to Colombia, that does NOT mean that you are anywhere near an expert on the place. Sorry. Truth hurts.

I just did a ticket for someone else on Aires ( www.aires.aero ) and did not have any problems. I do have a profile established with them and the traveler has previously flown with me through the use of this profile; if this makes a difference. But it seems easy to reserve and pay online. Not sure how much cheaper you're goin to get it but if you hit one of those frequent sales, you'll be golden.
