Medellin Real Estate MLS

For all of you interested in an MLS for Medellin Colombia Real Estate, well, we have it. It is bare bones at this moment, but its a work in progress. Still fighting with the culture here, but we have over 300 listings ordered by city and neighborhood.

Owners and realtors send us photos and we can feature your properties on our new website.

Our online database will be in English, and hopefully this will allow people to share information about properties in an organized and friendly fashion for the expat community and for Colombians as well.

I have to be honest to say that the website needs work or better, completely changing, with only text will give you page blindness and the user will go away from your site very quickly. With no search function you don´t want to read through everything to find something like what you want, another reason for people to leave your site. Also, it does look very old fashioned.

Looks like you´ve done a lot of hard work getting the connections, don´t spoil it by having a bad shop window

I looked into building a property portal website a while ago but that´s another thing that haven´t got around to, if you want to know what i found, send me an email and i´ll get back to you.

One of the big problems I have with property listings is the lack of photos. You can tell me everything about the house, measurements, colors, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, etc. But if you don't have several pictures of it, I'm not interested. Pictures are very important and not just the best 5 of the living room, I want pictures of every room in the house, they outside of it and the back patio. That's why I love Realtor.com, I can enter any info I want with photos and wham, I can see exactly what I'm looking for.

yep realtor.com is good, we will have our listings up with photos shorlty. Partner Realtors will have a database to ad their photos soon. We are just getting the ball rolling.
