ColombiaBoard says on Aug 4, 2007, 13:03: Laureles is ON the valley, that means, flat streets and sidewalks, in El Poblado it's mostly steep streets and many areas don't even have sidewalks, you usually need a car to go anywhere in El Poblado. Laureles is warmer, El Poblado is colder, specially in the higher areas. El Poblado has better - fancier restaurants. There are more high rise condos in El Poblado than in Laureles, you can still find old houses in Laureles. Transportation is better in Laureles and there are less traffic jams during rush hour in Laureles, traffic in El Poblado is still a nightmare. Rental properties are cheaper in Laureles than in El Poblado.
