I have asked fellow members on this board what is so great about the parade and for whatever reasons no one on PBH has been able to tell me what one should look forward to regarding any of the events scheduled during the festival. I could do without a bunch of drunks on the streets and hotels increasing rates for rooms during the festival, on top of increased airfare.

The horse rides had been critizice not only in Medellìn but in Feria de Cali as well, but for you or anyone to know what it is really like you need to test the water. The cabalgata might be fine before few people get drunk but it is not always the case, it is true last year something happened but that was between a drunk with some of jeously, but overall I do believe most people enjoy the Feria de las Flores.

There are just too many activities to be negative on either one or all is just useless, better keep it safe indoor, in bet and watch the party in the safety of your bedroom.

I was there last year, I went to La Cabalgata, it was wonderful. I was with some of my relatives behind "Carrefur" el gringo decides to stay home in Rionegro, he did not like crowds.

Expect, lots, and lots of people dancing, drinking at the under passes, streets, balconies, roof tops.... everywhere,
