Room for rent I have my own apartment in Envigado and looking for somebody to rent a room. It is a very nice place with a huge terrace and located near the Exito and the Metro Envigado. It has high speed wireless internet.

If anyone is interested just let me know.

EAFIT
If you are going to this place to learn Spanish you had better know allot of Spanish before you begin. I lasted 4 days there and couldn't take it anymore. It is entirely in Spanish. We spent have the time "guessing" what the "teacher" was saying. Allot of it was done in "charade" style. If you have time for this and don't mind playing guessing games then this is the place for you. For me, I can learn more on my own rather than wasting my time there. Just my two cents worth. You also do a search here about the place and you will find negative comments regarding this "school." Also, they did give me a refund but I can only "deposit" in the Bank Popular in Envigado. I suppose I can withdraw the funds after I have spend half a day opening up the account. I was told that if I spent over 10% of my refund ($650,000) on items they would cash my check. I have yet to do this. The check remains in my drawer until I find a way of cashing it. And, since I do not live in Envigado, I have to make a special trip there to open up an account in this bank. So buyer beware. On the upside, I have a few friends who went there for 5 days and did not give them a check. On the 6th day they bailed out. So you can get Spanish lessons there for 1 week free if you like.

Eafit I don't agree with lostgringo what he said about EAFIT. I am not sure in what level you started but if you start at level 1 it is dead easy even if you donnot speak any spanish. You will be placed in a class according to your spanish level. And the fact that it is entirely in spanish, I think is only good in that way it forces you to use spanish instead of english. You will never learn another language if you hang on to your native language.

I do agree that EAFIT is expensive and that there are other maybe better places to learn spanish.

Just my opinion
