Hi-
I am an Aussie girl living in the beautiful city of Medellin with my boyfriend who is Colombian. We have a room available in our apartment for a minimum of one month stays. The apartment is spacious, modern and bright, with two balconies. The complex itself is great, we have 3 swimming pools, a gym, tennis court etc....
This apartment would suit someone who is studying Spanish here, or is looking to live and work more than backpack around.
The apartment is located in Laureles, a safe and beautiful area, very central, close to public transport and 10 minutes to almost everywhere. Contrary to popular belief Poblado is not the only suburb that is cool to live in, its just the most expensive and gringo area.
We are charging US$ 315-325 per month depending on the room chosen. This price includes, all utilities, internet and access to all facilities that the complex offers.
Any questions about this please email talrafel at hotmail.com
Thanks

bjorn says on May 17, 2008, 02:28: I lived a year in Medellin, close to Laureles (Santa Lucia) and I agree with this poster that this area is far better than Poblado. I am not going back to Colombia before next year, but I will definitely recommend the area around Laureles. As I have said before here on PBH; forget Poblado if you want to live in Medellin. There are lots of better areas to live. Even Robledo (a strata 3 area) a few minutes by car from Laureeles is a very nice place to live ( and not dangerous even though it's a strata 3 area) Bjorn 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
