After remaining married and in Colombia, limited trips outside of Colombia are allowed to apply for status as a qualified resident. You can get this, which is kinda like a US "Green Card", after you have the TC, Temporary spouse visa, for three years. With these two visas you can get a cedula which solves a bunch of problems. Gator says on Mar 26, 2005, 12:03: DAS... stands for Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (a little like the FBI). In Bogotá at Calle 100 No.11B-27. Do NOT neglect meeting the time-frame when you have to report. Really a painless process-not sure of the cost but it should be between $75/100 USD "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
