Hello all,,
i have a cousin living with me in orlando...
he has a tourist visa, however he wants to stay here for good..
he wants to get married to a u.s citizen in order for him to get his residency...
he says that in cartagena there are no jobs...and i can't blame him..
i already advised him that he shouldn't do that...
what are his options...? how can he become a resident without getting married...?
if anyone knows someone out there that is willing to do this.. let me know,,
my cousin is willing to pay $$,,,
My e-mail is Mikey122004 at yahoo.com or MiguelAngel1104 at yahoo.com
thanks,

It's one of the few ways out for illegals. utopiacowboy says on Mar 16, 2005, 15:52: That isn't quite true. It has been done the other way, I assure you. Most spouses who immigrate to the United States do not use either the K-1 or the K-3. They enter the US on another type of visa and marry while in the United States and then adjust their status to permanent resident. In fact, using the USCIS own reports, one can see that K visas constitute less than 10% of all the spouses of US citizens who annually immigrate to the US. Contact an experienced immigration attorney for further help.
