When I just posted, the comment did not appear until I went to the active page and came back to the page. It did show the correct comment count and my name as last poster on the active page.

Also, viewed and non-viewed posts appear the same on the active page. In other words, this post, which I've read, displays the comment count as a link, but other posts which I've never looked at, display the same way. There is no way to tell them apart.

I'm not complaining, but as a programmer, I know that it is helpful to get specific information about how new code is behaving. I assume you don't have a QC staff, so just trying to help.

by the way, new features: flag comments that break the rules for review by moderators. Editing your comments or posts is now limited to 1 hour. And some more stuff. I also removed the travel guides, since I have a new version of that under the works, it's not quite ready yet.

Safari is the most problematic browser of all when it comes to compatibility, especially with web apps like this site. We will sometimes have a web app working on every browser known to man on Windows, Mac and Linux, but Safari is always a pain. For our internal apps, we force the mac guys to use Firefox because Safari is garbage. For external apps, we have to do special browser detection to adapt the site for Safari's quirks. The odd thing is that I think it is based on the same Mozilla engine as Firefox and the now defunct Nutscrape yet those two never have problems.

Peter your response handler AJAX function after the server call for adding a comment is not doing the refresh screen properly - or should I say as it was before. The user does not know if the post was added to the thread without going all the way out and coming back.

Also in one instance earlier (semaphore post) the edit button was gone after 3 minutes. Could be a clock or subtradct time (format) issue.

I agree, although I see his reasoning, I hate typos, and often make corrections much later, or have additional thoughts, and I have found that Firefox doesn't work well with PBH.

Webman - I juggle between different computers during the day and I have more than one at home. But I only recently had my internet re connected at home since I was moving (don't ask ,jeje ;))).
