I've always been a bit put off by AirComet unless I'm flying the next week.

A friend of ours in Spain booked a return flight with Air Madrid or whatever one went tits up a few years ago....she lost her money.

a friend of mine at the medellin internation airline tells me Air Comet will be flying Med-Mad from april or so
airlines must be in a lot better shape with fuel at 500 a tonne than how it was last year

Its about time there was some direct flights to Europe from Medellin. I despise El Dorado.

I have posted various times about them,I got shafted the last time they went bankrupt. Not a very stable bussinees and they keep starting up with different names. Aircomet, Airmadrid.

the airlines that could have gone bankrupt have most likely already gone that way... with the price of jet fuel less than half what it was just a few months ago things are only getting easier.... airlines that are going bankrupt dont open up new routes either, or do they? but of course if they do go belly up it will be my fault.

the guy in charge of Spirit Airlines for South America who just head off to Saudi Arabia to start a low cost airline just said that the companies south american routes were all quite profitable.

I thought I read that Aircomet went bust, was "rebranded" and started up under the new name. Are they owned by the same people in Spain?

Either way I was left with a very bitter taste in my mouth!
