Lucky Dollars

I'm sending my kid friend some crisp lucky dollar bills. Can someone please tell me how to say lucky dollar in Spanish? I'm hoping they will bring him some luck.

Thanks so much, and I will not ask for Spanish help again for at least 4 months!

Kim

dolar de la suerte Hi Kim,

This is my first post on this site.
Thought id try to help you out a little by this occasion.
Dolar de la suerte should work. There are several ways to say it, depending on the occasion.

I hope my colombian friends here can confirm if dolar de la suerte is correct (since my Spanish isnt 100%)

Hehe so I guess that means the other people from this forum are running out of patience then? I can help you out for the next 4 months, after that you're on your own! If you need help just ask.
My Spanish is 60% but because of my Portuguese roots i manage to save myself pretty good everytime i visit Spanish spoken places

BTW If you have any bills left over send them to me hehehe

Thanks... Antonio and Gator! (LOL Gator. He's only getting one dollar this month as he got a bike and presents for his family on Christmas ;-).

Antonio - no, the people here haven't indicated they are running low on patience; I just try to be self-sufficient and not always asking stupid gringo questions. When it's for a good cause, though, I never mind. :-) Thanks for your kind offer!

Welcome - we are glad to have you here with us!

Take care,

Kim

Aw, crud... I didn't think they opened cards. Only 30% of the stuff I send through customs ever makes it to my friend, so now I just send the Global Priority envelopes. They can open the envelopes? Sheesh, I know I'm naive but I didn't know that happened.
