I would like to thank all of you for your concern and suggestions,
Well, in this two days there have not been a lot of good feeling and time to sit down and write here,
all yesterday was going from police in Mayorista to court house in Itagui and finally was able to file a claim with fiscalia in Envied at 8.PM , had phone conversation with two attorneys, and all this morning meeting with the owners of the hotel and has been going through a lots of things,
I know there are a lots of questions and I will happily inform you soon,

Robert Jorge says on Nov 8, 2009, 02:54: There are only 2 choices. You can let it go and regroup - count your losses. Or you can go hard-core ballistic - all the way. No in between. Obviously, count your losses and learn. The person / people who took your stuff can be found, but are you willing to go to that level? I wouldn't be. So let it go. Talking to the police and attorneys will do you no good. You are wasting your time. Sincerely, sorry for your loss - I know how it feels. They got your stuff, don't waste your valuable time pissing against the wind. "You can not take the barrio out of the girl you really can't." Oneforamillion 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

babygirl says on Nov 8, 2009, 04:21: I hope he had trip insurance. I think I'd probably still be pissed and want the hotel to be accountable some how, but hey, I'm Canadian. ;) When I worked in housekeeping, (5 diamond shee-shee hotel) we weren't even allowed to make the bed if there were personal belongings on it, or even wipe down the counter in the bathroom if that meant moving around people's stuff too much. I really hope he had insurance. If not I think RJ, you've got the right attitude, try not to spin your wheels and move on. It's just really hard to let it go sometimes especially if you're on a budget (I have no clue what your financial situation is like or budget, just a comment). Good luck again.
