Looking for Apartment in the Santa Marta area

I´m looking for an apartment for me and my girlfriend in the Santa Marta area. We would prefer a small town but it´s hard to find budget places. We don´t want to spend more than $200 a month.

There are a lot of places for sale in the $15000 range but finding a rental is hard.

Not more than 200 USD a month. You can get an apartment in Gaira for that price. Not far from El Rodadero. Now.. don't expect a gated community, but you'll have interesting neighbours.

Ya $15000us, My girlfriend has been looking this week and said there are lots of cheap places to buy but not to rent. She also said there are empty lots for $2000us. Too bad I didn't bring my tent.

She had a nice apartment in Cartagena for $90 a month last year. I kind of wish she still had it.
