Looking for an Apartment in Bogota

I am living at present in the Candelaria but I am desperate to move to a new neighhood, possible in Chapinero Alto or La Macarena (not spelt correctly). I am looking for a one bedroom place, or to share with a Colombian. I have budget limit of 500,000 and only need somewhere extremely basic. My major problems are that i need broad band Internet for my work and I can only sign a contract for a couple of months at a time as I am applying for new jobs which sadly might entail leaving bogota. If anyone has any ideas please let me know,

Cheer,

room in Pablo VI Hi...im moving to a new apartment (two stories), and sharing it with two other Colombians (i'm from the U.S., but of Colombian/Mexican parentage). There is one room available and it costs 250,000 with electricity, water and cable tv included, use of the kitchen, and a washing machine. I am only going to be staying for four months and am getting a WIFI internet connection for that time -- we could potentially cost share that. The apartment is not in Chapinero or La Macarena, but rather in Pablo VI - it's a nice area near Galerias. Write me at

if you are interested and i'll let the person who is renting me the room know. take care and good luck in your search. :)

I recommend the Pablo VI room. I live in Pablo VI and it is a great community with great transportation and recreation options. I really recommend it, and the price can't be beat - wireless internet all over, including library around the corner with free internet. Anyhow, I definitely recommend Pablo VI. And as for the Michigan guy moving to Pablo VI - WHATS UP DUDE!??!?! Let's meet up in PABLO VI! haha Seriously!
