Looking for accomodation in a specific area. Please advise.

I am intersted to find accomodation in Bogota very close to Carrera 7 / Calle 71. Can you recommend me a hotel which is close, at walking distance ?

For other major cities of Colombia: Medellin, Cali, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, the security and health conditions are the same as for Bogota (that means very good, as I uderstood) or there are some diffrences ?

Medellin, Bucaramanga and Barranquilla have good and bad areas as any city in the world, be sure to stay in a good area.
Medellin= El Poblado
Bucaramanga = Cabeceras
Barranquilla = Prado
