For a guy that's well travelled his accent is one thing, thats fine, but Medell-in, that was kinda sad, I say Mede-een more often than not, which is acceptable to most people but obviously Mede-jean would be more appropriate, come on dude.

No matter where you go, the Korean tour bus isn't far behind.

Feels like a very large and heavy ball is starting to roll. It should be interesting to see if this balls just stops or if it picks up momentum, speeds up and runs over everyone! As much as I hope for a better future for Colombia a part of me enjoys being there and knowing there are so few "gringos" with me.

breathless for the first few days,
my dad said he was when he came here ,he bought his mum my nan she was 80 and she was ok.

good video ,i dont worry about accent just the infro,
Monserrate was a whole lot better back in the 70s ,we would go up on the car ,walk down, the whole of the way down were bars ,food ,music ,3 hours or more to come down,i got photos of the indian village that was up there ,that was really nice ,the kids liked it.

but again ,he said colombia is safe ,if ...and thats the if you know where you are .
the fact is ,and it has to be said ,if you are on your own and take the wrong turn, your dead ,mugged or beaten.you can not just wonder wiily nilly where you want ,you can not just drive any where you want ,

and friday at the friday ex pats meet,we were all talking ,david likes to say hes english but he was born here ,while dad worked at the embassy, over 40 years here ,most of them 30 years,we all said the 70 s and 80s ,were a lot safer than now,not safe ,but safer, the early 90s the bombs were going off all over the place,

the min wage is 4,332 an hour ,but no one gets this, for 8 hours that would be give or take 35.000 a day ,around 1 million a month ,
but most work 10 or 12 hours a day,for 600.000 a month.so back to about a dollar an hour.and while this remains low ,people remain poor, safer it may seem on the surface, but safe it is not.

good night and i take the 5th.

Nice video, but just one thing, the name of our first president and our liberator, just like my name, is pronounced (SEE+MOAN), not (SIGH+MEN).
