local aguardiente in bogota

Please tell me if this is an urban legend, but can you get home-brewed aguardiente in various barrios en Bogota? If this is true, where can one find some of the local stuff?

There is home brewed all over Colombia, but once you see the still, you would never drink it.

Guaro is plenty cheap.
