15 young women researchers receive the 2008 UNESCO-L’ORÉAL For Women in Science Fellowships
Today 15 young women researchers in the life sciences, from 15 different countries across the world, will receive the 2008 UNESCO-L’ORÉAL Fellowships For Women in Science at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Awarded annually since 2000, the Fellowships permit doctoral and post-doctoral women to pursue their research in host laboratories outside their home countries. Since 2006, they receive a maximum of US $40,000 over a period of two years.
