Libreta Militar

I am on the cusp of getting a job, and I don't have a libreta militar, I don't know if they'll require one, I'll find out soon enough. But in general, what kind of companies require it? I really want to work where I could be working so I don't want to serve.

Has anyone one PBH ever served in the army? People treat it like it's a low institution in Colombia but I am sure it's not so bad if you pick the right place to be in. (Does anyone of this place BTW). Personally I don't want to go because I would like to work, so are there any ways of postponing service so that I could work legally, in case they do require it? ARGHHH!!! Women have it so good in Colombia.

I assume You are a Colombian National? if not the military requirement does not apply also there are age regulations and if you are a permanent resident of another country the card it not required.. I suggest to try and visit a Colombian consulate if you are not presently in Colombia. Also you can check out the army's web site.

Be careful if it is required because I have scene thew military in Cali make spot inspections.

"SIC FRIATUR CRUSTUM DULCE. OBESA CANTAVIT."

"Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" .

Military Service In Colombia I have two brother in-laws that served in the Colombian Army. One did 2 years stationed in Bogotá. Unfortunately he never lost the luxury of having mama close by. He is chupando teta somewhat to this day. My other brother in-law made a career out of it. Politics kept him from making Colonel when he retired at twenty years. He spoke highly of it and had fun in it. I don't think he wanted to retire when he did. Of course he had rank and was over a lot of lower rank grunts. It was my understanding you had to have the libreta militar on you when out in public in case you were checked by military police. I have myself seen them checking twenty something’s at a transmilinio station myself. I have another brother in-law that managed to escape serving at all. I am not sure what the deal in Colombia is, if serving is by a drawing or what. If you have a cedula extranjero with permission to work I think you are ok after you go stand in various lines for three days and get some document saying the same. Good luck with it.

See ya.

Thanks bro (about the book).

Of course, to make me really happy you have to buy my book and make all your friends buy it too in solidarity.

That way however, the entire purpose of this web site might be defeated irremediably, making a poor but happy bastard, rich and miserable wallowing in all those dollars.

But who cares about purpose and meaning anyway? Just about no one gets it, and that is why it is better to go about it in a chavalier way, ignoring Socrates and company and settling for a simple sancocho without hairy muslos.

In regards to your question, you play it simple to her in the act of contriction: "solo la puntica", and there she goes, extremely happy with little, until she gets it all and stuffs herself making her irritable only to dump you later.

All this in good humour of course, aprovechando the 150th birth anniversay of that señor llamado Freud, born, somewhere in Jambaló Checoslavaquia, who seemed to understand everything perfectly and for some reason every one as of late keeps contesting his findings all to conclude that in the end he was right.

And he simply said that all sex is required to defeat solitude, we all suffer from the same desease, right?

And the internet and sites like this with free expression, in which everything is said and nothing is relevant, agravate our condition.

Which is why that long explanation goes to explain that it is hard to explain this caracteristic nickname of mine, LaPuntica.

Despite the digress, I will still hope to write a coherent book. It will start with a colombian getting ready to be busted at an international airport with 4 kilos of Cocaine while his mind goes back in time 5 years to remember a strange funeral in the white city of Colombia.

:-)

Greetings, from Brazil, 2-3 weeks before the end of the last exile,

LaPuntica

just get the Libreta Militar and you dont have to go into the military and you can get your job. i dont know how much it is in Colombia but i just got mine last week here at the Consulado de Colombia and i only paid $115 USD. i heard it is like 2 millones de pesos in Colombia, but thats what i heard.....
save up and pay for it then you dont have to worry about the military...well at least for 2 years.
it is only required up until 28 years old.
