Gator says on Apr 22, 2008, 08:01: Makes no difference under Colombia law and the matter will have to be resolved in a Colombia family court.. If you have a problem with our information you should contact the nearest Colombian consulate and follow their advice. "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |

Mononoke28 says on Apr 22, 2008, 08:29: Also, even if the children have dual citizenship, it is against the law for them to only use the US passport just so they can leave Colombia. A dual citizen has to go in with a Colombian passport and leave with the US passport. Those are the rules for having dual citizenship. Diana |

lpdiver says on Apr 23, 2008, 19:21: Also Gator sort of covered it but not exactly. The parent traveling with the child needs to have the official notarized document as well. His letter has the space for both but he does not specifically state that. "cook some rice!" |
