¿Qué hubo a todos?
In the spirit of helping each other out wherever we might be in the globe, I find the pressing need of creating a network of professionals to collaborate in different enterprenurship, cultural and educational projects, community issues, career advise, immigration counseling, job and housing referrals among many other topics.
The first step is to SURVEY who we are and what we could bring to the table.
Please describe:
1. Your profession or occupation (Artist, scientist, economist, business owner, translator, etc.)
2. Current job position. What industry?
3. Project interests and passion whether inside Colombia or abroad
4. Fortes that you can offer
5. Location and availability
6. Contact Info
So for starters:
1. I am a Biochemical Engineer doing my Master's in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Law
2. Regulatory Law Consultant. Industry: Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Contract Research Organization
3. Primarily the spreading, strenghtening and the popular rooting of the scientific method in Colombian culture. Main projects:
a) The development of Biotechnology in Colombia and Latin America. I want to start my own Regulatory Law Consulting firm in about 5 - 7 years in order to have Latinamerican medicines approved by the FDA in the US and viceversa.
b) Another LONG-TERM PROJECT: The creation of the first English-language Latin American Think-Tank in Bogota to promote the values of the Enlighnment. Also, the creation of the first English Language Latin American newspaper as well as Latino radio (the like of NPR and BBC)
4. Fortes: Entrepreneurship, career counseling, networking, relocation advise among others.
5. Location: Midtown New York City. I live in Woodside, Queens, New York.
6. I can be contacted anytime at Colombuenazo at aol.com
I hope this is good start to pair up different PBH's to start working on various mini-projects of our choosing.
Let's HELP EACH OTHER OUT!
Thanks!

Desideria (Moderator) says on Nov 2, 2005, 12:15: I think you guys are being not just juvenile but rather unpleasant too. I'd hate to start a serious thread here and get the kind of treatment you're giving to Buenazo. "When shall we three meet again? BAQ says on Nov 2, 2005, 12:49: don;t mean to be rude I don;t intend to be rude, but honestly, do you really expect a majority of us to post all that info on a public forum? Semper Fidelis ! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
|
Desideria (Moderator) says on Nov 2, 2005, 13:03: BAQ no, you don't have to post all that information on a public forum. You may choose not to, but it doesn't mean that people who choose to do so should be ridiculed like that. Nobody's twisting your hand. I think that the intentions of the OP were honest and well-meant. We ought to be able to rise above common pettiness. "When shall we three meet again?
