I have read many books on learning Spanish, and taken four months of lessons, but the most useful thing I have done to learn Spanish is to read this book. It's not a school textbook, so it is cheap at $12.95.
This is a good book for those who are just starting to learn Spanish, to get a head start before taking lessons.

CaptainHowdy says on Mar 14, 2007, 12:32: Rules If you need to brush up on rules or review something, www.studyspanish.com is free (or you can pay and get more) and I'm using it to refresh all the many things I've forgotten. You can take a 20 question quiz at the end of each lesson to see if you've really learned it or not. I've learned a bit from seeing the mistakes I've made. Now if I can only remember them when trying to speak Spanish..... Teaching preteens the things they need to know! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
