"LAP BAND" WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY

last month,i refered "ROBMIAMI" to a specialist in a advanced weight loss surgery called "lap band" the surgery is a very safe way to lose weight fast.the doctor i refered him to is bi-lingual and one of the best in Cali.they say the best surgeons come from Cali.the doctor says it takes him between 30 and 40 minutes to perform the surgery.laproscopic surgery is very expensive in the states.here in colombia it cost 13,000,000 pesos(between $6,000/$7,000)for more info please email arthurbrode at aol.com

Arthur....now that is a first While I have heard that Cali happens to have a few doctors that specialize in this procedure mentioned above. In all my life, I have never heard that the best surgeons come from Cali. I find that hard to believe. In fact, for years I have heard that the best physicians as well as medical education, is in Medellin. And I may add, when I heard that years ago, I thought it did not make sense to me (about Medellin being the best) because to me, it would stand to reason that the capital, Bogota, as large as it is, would have the finest medical practioners. I think if you research this site, you will find my contention about Medellin being at the top has been discussed several times.

not for nothing but it ain't that cheap in Colombia . over here it's about 8,200 to 8,700
i have noticed for surgeries like that the price is not that much different.. I would have thought it would have been a least half the price over there then it is over here but it's not. better have it here God forbid something happens you know your family can take legal action

OK Arthur....I misread your post I do recognize that Cali is know for this procedure. But for medicine in general, Medellin is considered Colombia's number one city.

As to myself, I'll stick with any of Chicago's 4 top medical school/hospitals. For me, I can assure you they will be far less than any doctor or hospital in Colombia. My insurance pays %90 of both the doctor and hospital bill and I have a maximum out of pocket expense of $800. After that, all my bills are covered at %100. Nothing in Colombia will come close to that. By the way, my insurace premium is about $500 a month, but I pay about $60
