La Boquilla

We are thinking of spending a few nights here after a week at a resort on Boca Grande. Is this a fun area? Are there any small botique type hotels you recommend? We would like to spend between $100--200 a night. Thanks!

Try the search function here first as this subject has been discussed a lot in the recent past. Good Luck

La Boquilla... not really all that fun for a longer stay. Right up against a slum. Not sure the beach is even clean enough for swimming. It can be interesting to go there for an afternoon, drink beer and listen to vallenato.

You could maybe stay out on Tierrabomba... there are some all inclusives out there where you could easily spend $200 per night. This is one of the more economical options, the only one I've personally stayed at:

There are other options.. Cocoliso etc.

The Decameron has an all inclusive outside the city.. maybe in Baru.. not sure.

que nota!

Hola!

Boquilla is just north of the CTG airport. About 15,000 COP from Boca Grande will be the cost by taxi, so no reason to leave your Boca Grande hotel, since Boquilla is basically just a beach, unless you want a quiet scene at night.
