La Boquilla

Anyone has experience here. I read it is close to Cartagena. Is it worth a day trip.

It`s ok I`ve been there a few times. Not as crowded as the beaches in Bocagrande and more laid back. Guess it depends on what you are looking for.

There is a disco on the beach and there is a beach drive-in. You can drive your car onto the beach and pull up to any table. They bring out sodas and ice. You bring your own bottle. The tables and car are no more than 15 feet from the water.

The city bus can take you there for 1000 pesos.
