Cassini, Its really sad that your only purpose on PBH is to bring Colombia and our president down. Im not sure how long you have been on PBH and if youve always had these agendas but its becoming increasingly annoying. Reading your posts/comments you come across as a retarded human being who enjoys images of death, suffering families, inhumane kindnapping of innocent people for years, and all the other atrocities those idols of yours commit. I wouldnt be suprised if you had some link to las Farc. Why dont you leave the computer and head to the jungles with those pigs. Thats where you belong.

Keep my country, my president, and my people out of your mouth.

Cassini has taken the role of the internet propaganda arm of the Farc. He will not stop spewing his hate of Colombia until the country is overrun by his revolutionary comrades.

As a good Frenchman he has no intention to fight on the ground and prefers to “fight" on the internet far away from Colombia in his comfortable home in France, hiding behind his computer. That’s why Cassini and his French Marxist associates are often referred to as the “Caviar revolutionaries"

Bravo, Presidente Uribe for the perfect operation!

Now, people, we should criticize the argument not the one who posted it.
Cassini, I will read it as soon as I will have some spare time to do it, but the Internet is full of arguments against Uribe to go and get one from http://resistir.info/ it is like to get one wherever else. Like from ANNCOL.

I think that you should try to select your sources better to prove your arguments. Also, to propose it in a more constructive way. I am sure you're an intelligent person and will understand my critic.

If you talk about guys in politic who would be in jail in other countries, I am sure that you know that US, France, and Italy are full of them...

I began to spot around the book and it contains some pretty arguments you could get from other sources, like El Tiempo as an example... now if you post an article from El Tiempo, it will give a different impression.

"I am a citizen of the most beautiful nation on earth. A nation whose laws are harsh yet simple, a nation that never cheats, which is immense and without borders, where life is lived in the present."

Cassini you cannot put people in jail based on false accusations in a rule of law country. I know this concept may be hard to accept for a communist, as you guys have sent more innocent people to jail and the gulags, than anybody else in history.

So according to you there must be a big problem in the functioning of the French democracy:

“France's President, Jacques Chirac, has been accused of corruption during his time as Mayor of Paris and as president of the Gaullist RPR Party.

Judges investigating the allegations wanted to question him, but have been thwarted by Mr Chirac's claim to presidential immunity, causing one of them to resign in disgust."

Here is a typical career for a French politician:

Maurice Papon (September 3, 1910 – February 17, 2007) was a French civil servant, industrial leader and Gaullist politician. He is best known as prefect of police of Paris during the 1950s and 1960s, treasurer of the Gaullist Party, head of the Sud Aviation company and member of the French government under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing.

During World War II he was secretary general for police of the Prefecture of Bordeaux. Papon participated in the repression in Algeria during the Algerian War (1954-62) as prefect of the Constantinois department. He was named chief of the Paris police in 1958. There, he ordered on October 17, 1961 the severe repression of a peaceful pro-FLN demonstration against the curfew which he had imposed. The Paris massacre of 1961 left between 70 and 200 dead.

Personally awarded the Legion of Honour by President Charles de Gaulle in 1961, he was stripped of all his decorations after his 1998 condemnation for crimes against humanity. Papon was also in charge during the February 1962 massacre at the Charonne metro station, which took place during an anti-OAS demonstration organized by the Communist Party (PCF). Forced to quit his functions after the "disappearance" of Moroccan dissident Mehdi Ben Barka, leader of the Tricontinental Conference, in 1965, he became, supported by de Gaulle, director of Sud Aviation company, which created the first Concorde plane.

After May 1968, he became Minister of the Budget under prime minister Raymond Barre and president Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. In 1981, emergence of details about his past under Vichy led to his trial and, after a very long investigation, conviction for crimes against humanity in 1997 to 1998. Le Canard enchaîné newspaper published on May 6, 1981 documents signed by Papon which show his responsibility in the deportation of 1,690 Jews of Bordeaux to Drancy internment camp from 1942 to 1944. Released before the term of his 10-year sentence on grounds of health, he died on February 17, 2007, having served less than three years of his sentence.

WWII actions in details:
Papon later claimed he had Gaullist tendencies during the war. A confidential report from the Nazis show that in April 1943, he qualified himself as "Collaborationist", during "personal or official conversations." Another document of July 1943 called him a "good negotiator" [1]. During World War II, Papon served as a senior police official in the Vichy regime. He was the number two official in the Bordeaux region (secretary general of the prefecture of Gironde) and supervisor of its Service for Jewish Questions. With authority over Jewish affairs, Papon regularly collaborated with Nazi Germany's SS Corps, responsible for the extermination of Jews. Under his command, approximately 1,560 Jewish men, women and children were deported. The majority were sent directly to the camp of Mérignac, from which they rejoined Drancy internment camp, at the outskirts of Paris, and finally Auschwitz or similar concentration camps. From July 1942 to August 1944, 12 trains left Bordeaux for Drancy; approximatively 1,600 Jews, including 130 children under 13, were then deported [1].Few survived. Papon implemented the anti-Semitic laws voted by the Vichy government. By July 1942, he had "dejudaised" 204 companies, sold 64 land-properties owned by Jewish people, and was in the process of "dejudaising" 493 other businesses [1].

By mid-1944, when it was clear that the war was turning against the Germans, Papon began to take care of the future, meeting once Gaston Cusin, a civil servant engaged in the Resistance.

Regarding the "psychological" profile of Uribe, having friends in that field I can assure you that a TRUE PROFESSIONAL would never attempt such a profile without first meeting the individual in person and interacting with that person. None of which the anonymous so called "psychiatrist" above has done. For all we know that "profile" could've been written by Raul Reyes or Felipe Zuleta, puhleeze! BTW, the characteristics mentioned above are a perfect description of Chavez.

And no Cassini, you do NOT love Colombia! Defend your precious kidnappers all you want but please spare us your grotesque hypocrisy of "loving" Colombia. People who truly love a nation and its people would never wish a Khmer Rouge style plague on them.

You hate Uribe not because you "love" Colombia but because he's the only Colombian president that is effectively destroying farc. I have to agree with Tasco when he points out that you are nothing but an internet propaganda arm of farc.

All your posts seem inspired from the lies and trash publised there.
One of the actual things I learn in graduate school was to verify the credentials of your sources. Information? yes ! one can find all sort of garbage. The real job is to sort out what´s reliable.
Oh, and speaking of politicians, want me to start with Jean Marie Le Pen?

Here is another good example of French democracy at work:

When left-wing politicians commit crimes in France, they declare an amnesty and move on:

The Urba affair was an incident of political corruption in France pertaining to skimming receipts from public works for use for party campaigning during the 1970s and 1980s. The Urba consultancy was established in 1971 by the Socialist Party to advise Socialist-led communes on infrastructure projects and public works, which the party advocated the modernisation of.

The affair became public in 1989 when two police officers, Antoine Gaudino and Alain Mayot, investigating the Marseille regional office of Urba discovered detailed minutes of the organisation's contracts and financial dealings between the party and elected officials. Although the minutes proved a direct link between Urba and graft activity, an edict from the office of French President François Mitterrand, himself listed as a recipient, prevented further investigation. The Mitterrand election campaign of 1988 was directed by Henri Nallet, who then became Justice Minister. In 1990 Mitterrand declared an amnesty for those under investigation, thus ending the affair.

1990 - Antoine GAUDINO, police inspector at the Marseille Financial Investigation's Department (FRANCE), writes L'enquête impossible (The impossible Investigation) published by Albin Michel, as his contribution to the fight against corruption in politics. Although the book is a bestseller, it provokes the dismissal of Antoine GAUDINO from the Police Department.'

CAS 18% of voters didn´t seem to hate Le Pen when he ran for president.
Why do you think this goverment is so bad? b/c after Pastrana gave them a territory the size of Denmark, Switzerland, or The Netherlands to prove test their socialist/communist ideas look what happended?
So Pastrana gave them Carrots and didn´t work. Now they get the stick !
The closest president who came close to hit the FARC was Gaviria when he attacked Casa Verde, in dec 1990, the same day there were elections and no one had the slightest idea that would happen.
Is that so bad to uphold the responsabilities to which one has been elected to do?
Where´s FARC / ELN legitimacy?
