Kokorico or Kentucky Fried Chicken

I saw both in Bogota and wonder what Bogotanos think...

I like both. I heard KFC was struggling in Colombia. They did close a few of their original stores. They offer the classic KFC menu.

Kokoriko has more variety... tailored for local taste. It's a lot more succesful than KFC.

In Orlando we have a great Colombian chicken eatery called Pio Pio, I think they are also in NYC or NJ. I think we must have at least 30 Colombian restaurants in the area maybe more. Last week I went to Gloria's Cafe home to better sancocho than I've had in most places in Colombia. Another cool place is a finca south of Kissimmee run by a crazy Colombian family, you can almost imagine you are in Colombia, it is crazy, lots of music, good food, aguardiente flowing like water, the AC consists of bags of ice water hung from the rafters. On the weekends they get crowds of perhaps 300 or more people, always a few Mexicans for good measure. They of course check for pistols at the gate. :-)

The chicken question is like asking... ColombianoX whether the Pope is Catholic. ;-)
