There is a kiteboarding school at the end of Bocogrande beach. They actually do the course elsewhere, however the school is there. At the end of Bocogrande beach go 'left' to the other beach (not explaining this very well) and you will see the school. When I checked it was 40 usd a lesson.

Mikeinpuerto may see your post (or send him a message) I am pretty sure he started a course there.

hmmm...bocagrande ends where el laguito starts...dont believe there is a left at the end of bocagrande unless referring to the beach in el laquito which turns to the left if coming from el centro....theres nothing in either publicar or the other phone book...only surf shops...i hope we arent confusing surf shops with kiteboarding shops....Tomtom33 has a place in EL, so maybe he can comment....he knows all the little shops etc there....

do you know if it is a shop, or just a place on the beach where they hang out looking for clients?

Hi Mig - if you walk down the main bocogrande beach, it ends and you need to go left to another beach (that may be Laguito?). there are a bunch of restaurants and the beach chairs etc (also where the jet skis go from). The shopfront is just near the double deck restaurant that is there.

bickerss....You Da Man! jajjaja..here i was thinking i was going to help you out since i live here in Cartagena...jajajjaja..yes, the is El Laguito, and Aaron21 and i ate at that double decker restaurant at the dead end of a short street....i will definitely look for it this weekend....i ordered a 2m training kite to learn the basics at the beach after work.......and i know La Boquilla pretty well.....Thanks!

That was the name...El Muelle.....i need to mosey on down to El Lagito on sunday or monday to see if i can find those chaps....there is a group of about 5 gringos (not sure though) which kiteboard from La Boquilla to the El Lagito point near El Muelle.......looks like alot of fun!
