k3 visa, besides the $380 my wife has to pay the embassy

Do I have to pay any additional fees to the embassy. I asked this question because my wife tells me she has to pay Bank Union $100 for her passport but I assume it is already included in the $380. Can someone help me?

K3 visa Once you pay the $380 with the application here in USA you do not have to pay any additional monies in Colombia.

I went through the same process a few years ago and did not have to pay any additional fees, as all was part of the package application submitted in USA.

Good luck!

Paisa In MY case I had to pay the $100.00 at the embassy in addition to the fees for filing the K-3 visa. We obtained the K-3 in 2004 February.

Sounds like your wife is getting an immigrant visa. You pay $380 to the National Visa Center for that - you don't pay the embassy or bancocolombia anything.

Now I'm really confused On the US embassy website it says that the day of the appointment I have to pay $380 at Bank Union. If I dont pay them how do I go about paying NVC our interview is in 2 weeks.

My wife is coming on a K3 So I guess thats not the same as an immigrant visa. Does that mean she just has to pay Bank Union $100

You don't seem to be very clear on whether she is getting an immigrant visa (CR-1/IR-1) or a non-immigrant visa (K visa). If you paid the NVC $380, then yes, she is getting an immigrant visa. If you did not, then no she isn't.
