K1 visa mailed or picked up next day?

I've read here that unlike in past, a K1 visa may be picked up in person on the day following the interview, at about 4p.

But I'm looking at a scanned version of my novias Packet4 - and the page that talks about what type of photos are required says A PARTIR DE LA FECHA, LAS VISAS SERAN ENTREGADAS CON NUESTRO SERVICO DE CORRO, DOMESA DE COMLOMBIA.

My Spanish is OK, doesn't that say that they will mail the visa?

What's the most recent experience someone can share?

Thanks!

It's picked up the next day at 4 PM unless the approval is on a Friday, Then it's picked up Monday.

They quit mailing them last month, besides saving you time it also saves you $25.00.

GOOD LUCK!!

Best Wishes,
Bob

That's what I thought, thanks, but having them still include the "we will mail it to you by Domesa" page in the Packt 4 (which as only mailed out last/this week) hit me strange. Thanks

flaleo The date of the change was AUGUST 28TH. Our interview was the 29th, a Friday. We picked ours up on Monday at 4pm. It used to take about 7 to 10 days. When is your interview date? I have been off line for a few days.

Friends???? How do you place a value on that?? They are like memories, without them you have nothing

Told to Pick up, They were not ready to deliver Today was the day we went to the Embassy to do as they instructed. 4pm, pick up your fiancee visa. Unfortunately, they said the visa was not ready yet, not cleared, they needed more time, etc.etc..

What a crock of shh... Wasted my money and time going all the way up to the US Embassy in Bogota for their scheduled appointment. They told us to come back again tomorrow, but with no promise to deliver. I hope that me and my fiancee don't waste our time again. She is 36 weeks pregnant. Walter
