After 5 months of back and forth travel...finally sent k1 package to Vermont Service Center to start process. I was very happy to see that I sent my package to them and it was recv'd on Jan 10 and I have already recv'd NOA2 with approval as of Jan 20th. Is this normal to receive NOA2 in such a short period??? From what i've read..most people seem to say that it takes at least 4 or 5 weeks to receive 2nd notification. Just wondering if i'm having good luck or i was just reading horror stories about timeframe. I guess now the waiting begins since i hear it takes a while to have National Visa Center send the embassy the file and for them to send her the packet. I'll keep you updated as we go.

utopiacowboy says on Jan 24, 2005, 16:14: You're right, Dan. They are blazingly fast with the I-130s as well, not just the fiancee petitions. Dan says on Jan 24, 2005, 16:17: Utopia... Yeah, you of all other on this site know what I'm talking about. Especially after asking you questions upon questions on the whole process. I saw earlier today the "Check Status" on the immigration website and found what states are covered with Vermont. I almost want to use my parents address so that I can get everything done faster. God Bless America! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

utopiacowboy says on Jan 24, 2005, 16:19: I will tell you, Dan, that you are not the first who has thought of it. Or maybe has done it. I have seen people talking about doing this on some of the immigration forums on the net.
