Juanes Cuba Concert Sparks Furor Amongst Miami Exiles; Receives Death Threats

Funny this Exile Group welcomes known International Terrorists like Posada Carriles and Oscar Bosch into their Fold at the Calle 8 Versaille Coffee Klatch but let a Pop Singer put on a concert to promote better relations and look how they react. Reminds me of the Infamous Protest over Boy Elian's removal and return to Cuba with his Biological Father. These Calle 8 Vigilia Mambisitos are something else--Crazy. If these Old Right Wing Coots had remained in Cuba, fought and taken their country back from Castro 40+ years ago, they wouldn't need to protest today over a Colombian Singer.

"BEHIND THE UPROAR

Plans for the Havana show set off an argument over music and politics in Miami's exile community the likes of which hasn't been heard since the controversial Los Van Van concert at the Miami Arena in 1999. Earlier this week, Juanes received what appeared to be death threats. Last week, members of Vigilia Mambisa, a tiny right-wing exile group, smashed and burned Juanes' CDs on Calle Ocho -- an action that produced its own controversy, as other Cuban opinion-makers criticized the protest for making the exile community look too extreme."

These Vigila Mambisas are one of the main groups behind the Juanes Protests here in Miami:

Too bad these Mambisas didn't show some of this same Macho Bravado 40 years ago in Cuba against Castro as they show in this Picture Slide Show, they wouldn't have the problems they have today ! Real fair fight, 50 Mambisas against 3 Demonstrators.

Or we could encourage them, supply them with weapons, training and technology and when they finally turn on us and attack us, we could invade Turkey!!!
