Juanes and Reguetonero Tego Calderon pay homage to the now deceased Octavio Mesa

Juanes and Tego Calderon do a cover of "El Jornalero" by the now deceased Octavio Mesa.

This is a pretty good version. The video is edited, it's not the actual video, but at least you can hear the song. It sounds better if you crank up the volume hehe.

Desde Medellin Colombiaaaaa.......... para el mundooo enterooooo...

A Dios le Pido was the best song Juanes ever wrote, bar none, none of the other songs even come close...

Never heard of Octavio Mesa, but over the last year or two, Tego Calderon has become one of my favorites. Especially Slo Mo', Comprenderás, Mi Papá and Mil Cosas from "El Subestimado"

I have heard a few versions of El Jornalero but am assuming Octavio Mesa was first.

I pay homage to Mesa by giving aguardiente to all the chofers I meet (yeah, different guy but the right spirit). Though not condoning drinking and driving, very few Canadians get into traffic accident after drinking aguardiente dobles.
