Juan Pablo Montoya

I've never been a nascar fan but I am now!! Just want to share a newsletter article I received this month. It even mentions Poor But Happy!
http://www.colombiafarmvacations.com/newsletter-march-2007.htm

I've actually stayed in their apartments and the guy is a nascar nut and even got his Colombian wife involved. Great place to stay also.

I'd agree but Montoya is the man!!

How do people learn to drive in Colombia, especially a bus ? Well, I guess they started out with go carts.

I read the article, I also know Bob and I'll bet money M-21,

I read the article, I also know Bob, and I'll bet money that even if Juan Pablo is driving a Dodge he will be proudly display the model, but he will never admit that it's his, he'll claim it's his wifes.

NASCAR and Juan Montoya Well, let me be the first to welcome you to the NASCAR family!! It's quite an experience. I am happy to have Juan Montoya racing in NASCAR with the likes of Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and Matt Kenseth. There are quite a few rednecks in the sport but it's no longer only rednecks. The huge corporate sponsors that spend in excess of 10 million dollars a year don't really qualify as "rednecks." There are actors, entertainers, and celebrities that attend and participate in NASCAR events. I don't think they qualify as "rednecks," either. Once you learn who to like besides Montoya and who you learn to truly dislike, like that pencilneck idiot, Kurt Busch, you'll begin to appreciate it even more. I hope you enjoy the different style of racing and find out how difficult it is to pick a winner each week. I think this differs from F1 racing, where you have a pretty good idea who will win before the race even starts. (I could be wrong on this because I just can't get into F1 racing.) Someone once said that you would like NASCAR if you liked a bunch of "senseless passing." Is there any such thing as "senseless passing?" Isn't that the point of racing???? Aren't you supposed to try and pass someone??? That comment has baffled me ever since I heard it...Anyway, welcome to the NASCAR community...

Una gringa client today, heading to Las Vegas to see.... NASCAR this weekend or next. I said to her, 'The other drivers don't seem to care too much for him, being feisty and aggessive like he is.' She said, "The other drivers don't like him 'cause he's so good-lookin". I think she's got a crash on him, lol

Why Not Colombia?..........Stay Tuned, for more.... utterly worthless, self-indulgent gobbets of nonsense.

His crashing his own teammate... is still outshined by the Toyota team, in their first year and first race, getting caught cheating. Apparently, they had a little too much "kick" to their fuel which is a huge no-no in racing. Toyota was already being ridiculed for even entering such an "American sport" and then they get caught with fuel additives. It will definately be something that makes the end-of-year reels as well as Montoya.

Nascar driving much more difficult compared to F1.Wishing the best of luck to Montoya, and looking forward to seeing him drive at the Texas Motor Speedway April 15th.

You must be joking... Nascar driving is much more difficult compared to Formula One. jajaja No way!! I remember a couple of years ago when Jeff Gordon and Montoya traded cars for a few laps at Indy.

Here is a quote that I found that was writen about that event, it comes from a Gordon website:

"Jeff Gordon knew what he was facing. Comparing the jump from stock cars to Formula One cars was equated to making the jump from go-karts to stock cars. Whereas the technology on a stock car is basic and somewhat rudimentary, a Formula One car has often been called a fighter plane with wheels."

TMS I've got tickets to the Texas Motor Speedway race in April but I'll probably sell them on e-bay. Our beloved TAKS test in school is the 19th and I don't think I could take off the day before the TAKS test and I certainly don't want to come in at 3 a.m. Monday morning and then try to go to school... I'm definitely going in November!
