I wanted to know if there any banks, international banks, financial investment companies and or brokerage firms in Cali Colombia? i would like to know as i work for this industry and would like to know if there are any, if i decide to move to cali. i speak spanish and english. I am an American marry to a caliena and we have a daughter together.

There is Citibank in Cali. Do you have the proper visa to work there? Gator or some others can clue you in on that.

Also Banco Santander from Spain and a few others, but these are just branches, main offices would be Bogota.

It sounds interesting since I work as a programmer for a bank in the US. I wonder if the banks in Bogotá will be looking for programmers. I can even work as a QA person for the IT department.

keep in mind you would need a work visas for any of this and not sure these companies will sponsor you. But will give you a idea of wages as well as requirements. It will be a a eyeopener of how low the pay is for professional jobs. In additioan keep in mind that Colombia does not have any problem with age discrimination. Every year you are over 30 drops your chances of employment over 50 and its pretty much over. Banks are the worst my 32 year old ex was told they were looking for younger people.
