I have one question and I appreciate if somebody in this forum can help me.
I am Colombian and I am going to get married with an US citizen soon. I understand that I can get a work permit in three months. I am engineer and I got my undergraduate degree in one of the best Colombian universities. Can I work in US like an engineer with my Colombian degree?. do I need to take some tests?.
If somebody is in a similar situation I appreciate to hear about it.
Thank you

Colombian engineers I've worked with, both in Colombia and in the US, are just as qualified as American engineers. Actually, when you get a job in the US you may find that most of your coworkers are not American. Most engineers in the US seem to be Indian,Chinese, Middle Eastern. Companies that do business in Latin America have a lot of Latin American engineers, too.
