Jiu-Jitsu Brasilero en Medellin Colombia

Hey everybody,

I am moving to Medellin, Colombia in a few weeks, and am wondering if there are any Jiu-Jitsu Brasilero schools? I have been training for a few years now, and would like to continue training.

Also, are there any wrestling academies around? If I can't practice Jiu Jitsu, I would like to wrestle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Arabic speakers Hi,
I'm looking to practice arabic with native speakers (preferably Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian or Syrian) who live in Medellin. I'm American but live in Medellin and am a basic level speaker who wants to practice spoken arabic. Am willing to pay for lessons or do an exchange. (I speak english and spanish, portuguese (basic)).Thanks.

Thanks Myematic Thank you so much. I e-mailed him, and I hope to hear from him soon. Do you know if there are numerous places to train down there (more than 1)? I have had no luck finding things on the internet. Your response was the most progress I've made in the last 2 months.

Somewhat along the same lines Not sure if it´s your thing but at my sports bar in Medellin we transmit every UFC event and can even find some Judo/Martial Arts events from Asia through the internet and we put it up on the big screen.

Any luck with Ian Carl? I met him in a Judo training (some kind BJJ/Judo integration) but as far as I know they were training in the poblado (specifically in Vizcaya) as part of Bodytech Gym. Too expensive and too far away from home. He told me was thinnking in opening a Academy here. I know Fernando Pereira a Renzo Gracie, Edson Diniz and George Perea student. he came like a month ago I could train with him. We are talking about organizing a MMA Event and a BJJ Seminar. yo can contact mi at msn/gtalk at mfcabrera ( at NO_sPamx )GMAIL d0t com.
In my Judo Club we train a lot of ground (not as bjj) but in comparison with other schools we dedicate a considerable time trying to improve that area. you are invited if u want to come.
