Couple of weeks ago you brought your new wife to Alberta from barranquilla right? How's she adjusting?

jinksmiester says on May 17, 2007, 19:12: thanks for asking tom... My wife is doing great. As i told her everything is different here and its been a real eye opener for her.Had a big welcome set up for her when we got to canada...had my house and my bar(business)decorated with streamers and flowers`and baloons.I found one store on 118th ave in edmonton that had flour for arepa,s and juices and other colombiano food items,so we stocked up on things she likes...and of course i took her shoping for clothing suitable for canada(she loved that...500 dollars later..but then what lady does,nt like shoping? All in all she is very happy and from what she has seen of Canada she thinks its beautiful...she also remarked and told her family..(no garbage anywhere).Last weekend we visited a number of lakes in saskatchewan and she thought they were very nice.we had a nice warm day and i took her to bronson forests lakes just across the sask/alta border...nice sand beaches and pretty. We stoped and cooked a few smokeys over an open fire...a first for her.Im in the middle of doing renovations on my business and she has been helping me with that in between getting the house aranged as she wants it...(its a hell of a lot neater than i had it.)She was surprized we could wash and dry cloths in the house by machiene..her mothers place in BQ never had that luxury. She has been meeting lots of my family and knows now that as i told her Canada is very safe...My family is just in love with her...and rightly so ,she,s a great lady.
