Couple of weeks ago you brought your new wife to Alberta from barranquilla right? How's she adjusting?

thanks for asking tom... My wife is doing great. As i told her everything is different here and its been a real eye opener for her.Had a big welcome set up for her when we got to canada...had my house and my bar(business)decorated with streamers and flowers`and baloons.I found one store on 118th ave in edmonton that had flour for arepa,s and juices and other colombiano food items,so we stocked up on things she likes...and of course i took her shoping for clothing suitable for canada(she loved that...500 dollars later..but then what lady does,nt like shoping? All in all she is very happy and from what she has seen of Canada she thinks its beautiful...she also remarked and told her family..(no garbage anywhere).Last weekend we visited a number of lakes in saskatchewan and she thought they were very nice.we had a nice warm day and i took her to bronson forests lakes just across the sask/alta border...nice sand beaches and pretty. We stoped and cooked a few smokeys over an open fire...a first for her.Im in the middle of doing renovations on my business and she has been helping me with that in between getting the house aranged as she wants it...(its a hell of a lot neater than i had it.)She was surprized we could wash and dry cloths in the house by machiene..her mothers place in BQ never had that luxury. She has been meeting lots of my family and knows now that as i told her Canada is very safe...My family is just in love with her...and rightly so ,she,s a great lady.
Some time in later june i want to take her for a tour through the mountains.i know that will be an eye opener for her...but then everything here is as she is constantly emailing photo,s to her family and friends in Colombia.
Im also gonna see about a work visa and try and bring one of her sisters here in a month or so...
All in all things could,nt be much better...im sure that to some degree she misses her family, but at the same time she is having the time of her life taking all this in.

If she goes to work in my bar she will find a whole lot of sausage available and hunting her.
Actually, i think one of my wifes sisters would do well there...they are both pretty ladys and happy.A smile combined with good looks will go a long way.I think they would make a killing in tips alone.

jinks... bloody good for you boy!!!
excellent timing too.

oldbongo remembers that you were very diligent in the impementation of your political agenda, bringing wifey in, now, please tell how you expect to be able to arrange an early, easy, work visa? please.
we were thinking la commandates' brother could possibly qualify as
an exotic dancer, but they closed that option the other day.
and seriously, the point system sounds very challenging.

She is doing not too bad with the english, but has a long ways to go.
She was taking classes in BQ for the last 6 months there but i don,t think she put enough effort into it.As far as winter ...well of course we have talked about it and she has seen photo,s but she will have to experience it to really get a handle on it.She wants to try snowmobiling and see some hockey.
We will return to Colombia in jan so by then she will certainly understand frio..

THOUGHT'S FOR THE MIND When I was a kid I use to breed and have parrots and macaws,
and one thing is always true.
If you have one Bird you become it's only companion, it would love you to death, and would have all attention to you. It won't bite you, it won't have mood swings & and won't never ignore you.
But once you pair it up with one of it's kind all of the above "CHANGES". THINK ABOUT THIS GOOD
